WANTED:Green Columbia/Orange OkeH-Odeon/ethnic Scroll Victor

Post by Uncle Vanya »

Lost most of my ethnic records in my late fire. Would like to replace a few.

At the moment am particularly looking for Slovenian records by the Hoyer (or Hojer) Trio. They recorded for Victor in '28. Their records were in the catalog for many years, and were pressed on the various scroll and circle labels as well as the purple "International Series" label of the late 1940's. The group also recorded for Columbia and OkeH between 1929 and 1933 and is found on Green Columbia, orange Odeon and some OkeH labels.

I'm also looking for records by Josephine Lausche and Mary Udonovich. Th recorded for Columbia exclusively, and are found on Green label, Royal Blue and Red CBS label pressings.

Would also like to find some of Vaclav Albrecht's electric sides on Scroll Victor. His stuff was listed in the Bohemian or Czecho-Slovak Series.

Any of the CBS Columbia Red Label Bohemian series records By Jerry Mazanec and his Orchestra would be welcome, too.

Pawel Humenieuk (Pawel Humeniak or Paul Humeniuk) led a Ruthenian or Rusyn string band. His records were issued in the Polish and Ukranian series on Green Label Columia. Am looking for any of his stuff, too.

I've a great deal of trading stock, and of course will also buy records that I want.
