The Amberola 30 is a good playing machine but common. You should be able to buy a nice one that needs nothing for $300 or perhaps slightly less. I've got a large quantity of Blue Amberols for $5 your choice so the records are no bargain. Just my opinion. Jerry Blais

Thanks Jerry, kind of what I was thinking. It's been on Craigslist for forever.

Looks like the machine is missing the inside grill.
As Jerry mentioned, the price is more than double what it should be.
Wait for an all-original example that's in very nice condition and priced right.

If you live close by, I would check it out. The cylinders looked liked they haven't been touched for years. If it includes all 100 cylinders in decent condition, that wouldn't be too bad. Figure the average price of a cylinder is $5.00 each, times 100, that's $500.00 worth of cylinders. If there are good titles or 5000 series, purple amberols, that may be worth something. If the records are in poor condition, or bad titles, then it wouldn't be worth it. This could be a diamond in the rough, so it's good to check. If there are good cylinders, then make an offer. It's worth the effort to check these things out.

I'm not sure if that is old grill cloth or if someone glued a piece of wood behind the grill...
