I'm trying to find some of those more ornate victor escutcheons that were used on the upscale models with the bowed sides and fronts - I need to use them on an XVIII, but I think they were pretty much the same as used on all of that type cabinet, the 130, 230, 330, XVII, etc. specifically, I'm trying to find an escutcheon for the crank hole and for the lower door lock (for the record cabinet).
I tried calling george vollema, but he doesn't have any at this point. I'm going to look at the wayne show next month. but if anyone might have one or both or know of someone who does, would you please get in touch? message me or email.
thanks,
brian

Be careful about using the escutcheon from a VV 130 on a VV XVII one has more bow than the other, I own both and got the parts mixed up and found subtle diffrences like that.

If you look in craigslist for Portland, OR and search under "Victrola stand" you will find a gutted VV-330 for $125. If you called them at 360-442-1254 and made them a decent offer, I bet you could buy what you need. [email protected]
Good luck, Jerry Blais

thanks jerry...
and wow, what a shame about that machine.
but I'm realizing now that I'll probably need something from one of the uprights, the XVII or 130 or best yet, the XVIII (which is what I have). the escutcheon I need is the wider decorative one for the lower lock for the record storage doors.
