Hello All,
I've been in Hong Kong for 27 years now. I believe I found my very first authentic gramophone. Not all authentic as it's been re-motored with a large Thorens.
It looks like an HMV 32. The automatic speed indicator slot is there but the mechanism is missing.
It is fitted with a generic Columbia type soundbox. The odd thing is that the tonearm is slightly too large to hold a HMV4 soundbox and too small for a HMV 5.

Re: HMV 32
Actually a bit worse than the one on ebay.
The HMV4 does now fit. The end of the tonearm was squished.
Actually sounds very good with an EMG IX horn and a Meltrope 3.
