Continuous Gramophone.
A friend of mine has this gramophone and he would like to hear from anyone that might have
one of these machines or know where a front grill and speaker might be found.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tony

Re: Continuous gramophone
Thank you. Yes I found that picture last night.
I think that this must be an earlier model as it has the large Tin speaker.
The model my friend has must take the later magnet type speaker.
I also imagine that the grill may well be much smaller.

Re: Continuous gramophone
Apologies for the very poor quality of this scan, but it is the only period advertisement I could find.
1929 was not a good year to introduce a machine costing 69 Guineas. It's manufacturing costs were high and sales were low.

Re: Continuous gramophone
Thanks very much for this scan as this is looking more like it.
The grill seems completely different.
Wow they were certsilly expensive!
Does anyone know what type (or brand) of speaker they were likely to have used?
I appreciate your help.
