Has anyone heard from Walt Sommers?

Post by SignatureSeriesOwner »

Hi all,

I've tried contacting him on his eBay store, and via email about a week ago now in regards to parts for a couple machines I have/replating, and I've yet to hear anything from him. Does anyone here keep in contact with him? If he isn't able to help me, that's fine, I'm just surprised I haven't heard anything one way or the other.

I spoke to him last week.

I ordered parts from him (which I received today).

Very nice guy, very knowledgeable.

I think I am trying to keep him in business single-handedly, just by ordering phonograph needles...

I tried calling him a week ago and no answer and no return
but I did place an order the next day and it arrived today
also, so hopefully he's ok. I keep him in business with
reproduser parts

I bought a Victrola No.2 back flange from him just last week, shipped out quickly too.

By the way, this is my FIRST post here at the forum, I am happy to be on board! :D

I sent him some e-mails a few months ago and never heard from him, I don't see him selling on ebay anymore, and his website www.victrolaguy is gone...

Did he pass away?!??

I spotted this: http://www.thevictrolaguy.com/index.html

I don't know if it's a new version of Walt's old website, or if someone else owns it.
