FOR SALE: Edison Fireside, K Reproducer & Orig M/G Horn-SOLD

Post by Jerry B. »

I am selling an Edison Fireside Model A combination 2&4 minute player. It is serial number 17502 and comes with a K reproducer and your choice between two original Fireside M/G horns.

Every once in a while you run into a sweet playing little Edison and this is one of them. I've oiled the governor and parts under the deck and cleaned and oiled the gear train above the deck. The motor and gear assembly runs very quietly and the machine plays great in both two and four minute mode.

The deck and striping is very nice and the finish, although dark, is original and good. The "Edison" decal is a little tough to see but it's all there. I am selling with your choice of original two piece Fireside horns. This machine came with the one with what's left of the original paint. It's a nice horn but there is little original paint remaining. The other horn was repainted some time in the past. Pick the one you like. The only replacement part is the little crane.

Please email, PM, or call with any interest or questions. I am happy to deliver to Union or the CAPS show at no charge. The price is $650 and it goes to the first person to say "SOLD!".

Thanks, Jerry Blais
