I'm doing a cleanup on an Amberola 30. Can someone tell me how the spiral cut mandrel shaft comes out of the bedplate if at all? There is no nut on the end. I'm trying to get the feed screw and such out to clean it.
Thanks,
Steve

Be sure to run down the motor completely before removing the mandrel on your Amberola 30. Jerry

I have done that. I ended up taking evrything out from the bottom side but would still like to know if or how the shaft comes out. I did a search and nothing came up.
