Mother Goose Songs No.1 & No.2

Post by Zwebie »

Edison Blue Amberol #4986 Mother Goose Songs No.1, and #4987 Mother Goose Songs No.2

Just picked these up. I'm sure in their day, they were thoroughly enjoyed by the children.
If someone knows the dates, I will add that info to the YouTube info.

Enjoy, Bob S.

Bob,

BA 4986 was recorded August 23, 1923
BA 4987 was recorded August 28, 1923

Both were also issued on Edison DD 51251

I think they're kind of fun titles, I've had the DD for years.

There's also a companion DD of MG Songs 3 & 4, but I don't know if those made it onto cylinder or not. I've had the disc of 1& 2, never saw the cylinders.

That's right, I'd forgotten about the second DD, it's 51284. I have that one as well.

No issue of these two on BA.
