What a beautiful machine. Personally I'd shy away from converting it. A two minute only in that condition is tough to find and getting tougher.

I thought about that also. I just put a horn I had lying here and it looks pretty good. I do have better horns though. These things are heavy as hell.

Yea the Triumph is an absolute beast. Yours looks good with that horn. Here's a photo of mine with an all brass horn. Unfortunately I rarely have it set up. It takes up half a room and a bit risky to display that way.Amberola wrote:I thought about that also. I just put a horn I had lying here and it looks pretty good. I do have better horns though. Hi Amberola,
What a super looking Triumph. The bed plate decals are just like new!! The new cased 1901 Triumph is my most favorite Edson machine. There is just something great about that large banner decal and the green oak finish. I have two of these models, one in 2 minute and one that was converted to 2/4 minute with a horizontal carriage and O reproducer. I would vote to leave your machine in it's original configuration. Later you could look for a model B Triumph to add to your collection that has already been converted to 2/4 minute.
Pete
