Edison Blue Amberol test pressing of 5313 'Kennie Wagner's Surrender' by Vernon Dalhart. Record has snow-white plaster core and is of such a diameter that it won't fit into an orange BA box, but it will fit into a felt-lined wax Amberol box, which it comes in for this sale. Record surface in great condition save for a ⅛" stylus scratch across the grooves about ⅔ of the way through the tune which causes a few revolutions of 'pops'. Chunk of plaster missing at title end. Take 1. $75

What about this cylinder indicates that it is a test pressing? Not trying to be contrary - just wondering.

The unfinished "bottom" is an indication. I've seen others that have blank title ends with just a number stamped in, but those were much earlier issues than this one.
Hope this helps...
