"J" Cylinder Repeater

Post by PeterF »

Somebody moved the thread from Machines to eBay for some reason:

http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... 14&t=17815

But folks wanting to discuss the J and other repeaters, let's do that here where more folks can find it, in "Machines."

People may have missed the super cool repeater video that got posted before the string got moved, so here it is again:

Hello,
That is a great video! I wish someone would make reproductions of the J repeater. It shouldn't be too difficult as a lot of the parts are formed from flat metal stock.

Peter, The moderators moved your post because any and all threads pertaining to a Ebay or CL listing are to be posted into "that" section of our forum as per the guide lines. This is also the way we the members want it... ;).

There are also many great threads on our forum that discuss repeater's owned by other members. You may like to check our "history" for further reading,etc.. on this subject.

Hope this helps clear this up.... :).

Not to be too snarky, but: Clearing it up by obscuring it. The point was not the sale or offering of the item, but the details of the item itself, and so people not interested in eBay and Craigslist stuff wouldn't see it.

Of course there are other threads on the topic, just like the myriad of other additional and repeated threads here.

But rules are rules. In the future I'll be more careful about embedding things in posts that would cause miscategorization.

You can always post pictures from the web without links to Ebay. This way it will be ok with the rules and no one will bother you with it. :D
