Need some identifying here

Hi guys,

I've been looking for a new project. This one might be of interest, but I need to know what it is first. The seller doesn't know what it is and is trying to get a speculative price which I think he'll never get around here because there's little demand. He doesn't even have a sound box to try it on. Any guesses on what a reasonable price for this gramophone should be given its current condition? I might try reasoning with the seller to bring the price down. But I need information to do that.

If the motor runs and the spring isn't broken I might try around £100-£150, I can't identify it but the woodgrained horn is quite nice!

Yep, the horn is quite nice even though it has been damaged.
It could be a frankenphone. The question is, how noticeable is that? It doesn't look too bad imo, but I might change my mind if it starts looking like a crapophone after I put there a soundbox....
Any thoughts?

The machine you pictured is a Parlophone 1912-1914. The style of case was in production from 1909, initially with a smooth horn support casting, but later, like yours, with a more decorative casting.

If you remove the turntable are there any extra holes to indicate a change of motor? You can also see this if there is more than 1 winding hole. The motor would have a £ logo on it visible if you have access at the base of the case. Maybe you can post a picture of the motor.

ps the motors don't always show the lindstrom logo some of them have swiss motors and some have motors that have a shape that kinda reminds me of a oltime sewing machine
most of the parlophones have the speed control next to the cranc or ontop of the case
