'Knock, knock, who's there?'--Fletcher Henderson (1936).

Puns invoking names of some of the band members lurk among the lyrics of this fun number from the Henderson band. Vocals are by Roy Eldridge and Edward Cuffee.

Recorded in Chicago 4th August 1936.

That must be a rare one; I've never seen a copy before.

I have Hal Kemp's band in this number, on an old tape dub, also a humorous ad lib performance.

I only knew the Jack Hylton version, this is way more advanced. Thanks for posting!
