Not Quite Nipper
As some of you may know, my Cairn Terrier, BlackJack passed away on Memorial Day after complications from surgery. We decided to rescue another Cairn Terrier, and he finally came home on Sunday after a long drive from upstate New York! His name is Clermont. I tried to do a "Nipper Pose" with him yesterday, but he wasn't quite getting it. Instead of sitting in front of the horn, he would walk up to it and shove his whole head inside (there was no treat in the horn, either!)
I'm going to call the second shot on-topic as well since there's an 8-35 in the background (but look at that cute face...)

He is a cute little guy. I would keep an eye on him if he is comfortable with bells on his head it may be an indication that he could have been a stinker and had to wear a cone on an occasion or two.

I'm sorry to learn of your loss over Memorial Day. Clermont looks like a wonderful addition to your home!

He's surprisingly very well behaved! He hasn't gotten into anything or made any messes whatsoever. I couldn't ask for anything more from himBruce wrote:He is a cute little guy. Thanks for the kind words, George. The loss was very difficult as I'm sure you can relate. The renewed life and energy in the house is nice, though. He seems to prefer Victor over Edison, Diamond Disks put him to sleepphonogfp wrote:I'm sorry to learn of your loss over Memorial Day. Clermont looks like a wonderful addition to your home!![]()

He's certainly a cute little guy. I'm sure he's happy in his new home. He'll get over the Victor thing too once he's heard a few more Diamond Discs. I can tell he's got refined taste.

My condolences on the loss of your pal BlackJack, but it's good that you have a new companion. Maybe Clermont is an Edison lover, and he's just "looking for the band"?
