What an awesome and early addition to your collection. Before needles were sold in tins and packages of paper, they were sold in wooden needle boxes. These are most often found in a squat, square or rectangular form.

Here we have a deluxe needle box. One in an unusually oval shape. This one, marketing A Burehard of St Petersburg Florida, provides storage not only for new needles, but used needles as well. The oval lid slides out to allow access to both compartments.

These early pieces do not come up often. To find one with a dealer marking is an exceptional find. Accessories are a great way to expand your collection and dress up your machine with out taking up much space!
