Old Styles

I picked up a Columbia A and the styles is ether broke off or pushed in. It's a flowing reproducer. What is the best way to get the old styles out?

If you are referring to the old Columbia floating reproducer stylus, I just heat up the stylus cone with a soldering iron and the shellac softens and the stylus just floats up.
