help i need edison concert parts!

im in need of parts for my edison concert
1 mandrel and lead screw
2 concert carrier arm and reproducer

is there anyone in europe in or near holland(the netherlands) who has these items

it once was a machine used at fairs and year markets it was owned by a amsterdam phonograph shop owner w.f. (willem)robbers around 1900 on Pathé cylinders (he sold)he advertized kom de reuzen fonograaf zien(come and see the giant phonograph)he gave shows in and around amsterdam with this phonograph he also recorded many dutch artists in his recording studio he moulded his own cylinders but also sold edison,columbia,Pathé,excelsior,and several other german french and english makes in 1910 the shop had a standard stock of 40,000 cylinders!
w.f. robbers died in 1923 at the age of 53

in around 1908-12 the concert was probably converted to record 4m cylinders to acomodise the new demand for these

Check with Jean-Paul Agnard. Just type in his name on an internet search engine with the word "phonograph," and you should be able to find his website. On his website, he does sell some Concert parts. He does not always have all parts in stock. Good luck! I have 4 Concer machines and love them!!

Does that machine have a Amett motor?

no just the normal 3 spring motor like in the triumph

canada is not realy next to holland you know!
i do like jean paul as a person but in a lot of casses the stuff you need is out of stock
i heard german collectors reffer to him as j.p. ein jahr (ein jahr means one year) (not very nice but its not my remark nor do i agree with it)anyhow there's way too much water between me an jean paul

The history is amazing, do you have cylinders it recorded and does it have different feed for master cylinders, you said he moulded his own cylinders, do you mean blanks or moulded, as in creating a matrix, and moulded copies. Does his wax formula exist, or did he use the standard Work Magazine formula that others use for moulding self made blanks as also found in "Technical Handbook Of Oils, Fats And Waxes"

You might try Guido or Jelle. Both in Holland. Although, JP in Canada may be your best bet for these type of "loose" parts. It may also be better to list a "wanted" ad in our Yankee Trader. That is our classified section as many members view it for "wants" or ??... .

most of the early w.f. robbers cylinders where direct recordings only the blanks where made by w.f. robbers
the recordings made by him are rare the the studio must have owned a pantographic device but they also had a triumph phonograph in the studio aswell as a graphophone treadle shaver probably the triumph had a different feed because they also made recordings for the excelsior label for the dutch market

i know the guys in the netherlands quite well jelle is also looking for parts for me but other than repro parts that need to come half way across the world with all kinds of extra costs attached to them like shipping and customs not much yet
the feedscrew also needs replacing because its badly rusted and not original to the machine its a home feedscrew with 2m-4m gearing
its a hell of a project but i'm patient (i have been for the last 15 years!)
