FOR SALE: Interesting machine in Walla Walla, Washington
I saw this machine while on a road trip. It's located in Walla Walla, Washington at Klicker's Antique and Fruit Stand and the price is $375 or $395. I thought it was very interesting. The cabinet hides a table model machine completely when the lid is closed. I don't have room in my basement but if someone else is interested, I could get it headed east. Jerry Blais

That table model is a long way from home.
Academy was the brand name of the Johnson Talking Machine Company of Liverpool, which had no connection with Eldridge Johnson of Victor fame.
A large number of their "hornless" models were used by the British Red Cross Society during WW1. Could this be one?
