FREE: Upright Phonographs
I have two upright phonographs that I would be willing to give to some young collector starting out, one per person and hopefully to someone that is under 18. They are in Central Wisconsin. I just thought this would be a good way to spark some interest in old phonographs to some future collectors. They work but need a good cleaning. I would also include some records. Please PM me if you know some young person that would be interested.

Re: FREE: Upright Phonographs
I am glad to say that I found a young man of 15 that was very excited to get one of my upright phonographs. I also gave him some records to go along with it. I had placed a Craigslist ad to give them away also. He lives about an hour away and came over today with his Dad. He also has a paper organ that his grandparents gave him. He had many questions about it and I gave him a brief lesson on the motor and playing records on it. I hope this will spark his interest in old phonographs, records, and the hobby in general. His Dad is very supportive of his son's interests so this was a good deal all around. He told me that his son will no doubt go through the whole motor to figure it all out. I plan on keeping in contact with them to offer any help and advice in the future.
