Orthophonic Sound Box Repair Recommendations

Post by gemering »

I am wondering who the real hard-core audiophiles use to have their Orthophonic reproducers rebuilt.
There are many fantastic repairmen/restorers on this forum, but who has the most expertise in this area?
Please do not post negative comments about any individual repairmen here! :!:
If you feel so compelled, you can pm about your negative experience.

Thank you,
Gene

Peter Wall in San Francisco is the best I know of. Just be aware that others share that view and that he can sometimes get backed up, so some patience may be required.

yes, I personally think his work is the best (he's rebuilt several of mine), but like others, he can at times be difficult to reach.
