This appears to be a XVI, but there's a data plate mounted just to the left of the tone arm that will tell you for sure.

I thought it was XVI. .I haven't seen the machine in person and the lady selling it couldn't make out the numbers on the tag...her eyesights' as bad as mine...thanks for your help.
