Re: 12" Zonophones the Twin Double Sided
According to Wikipedia, double sided Zonophones began to be issued after 1911, but that is certainly wrong. This site
http://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/label/zonophone
lists double sided Zon-o-phones from 1908, the same year Victor (USA) began issuing double sided discs in earnest. By 1908, Zonophone Twin records were a product of the Gramophone Co. (UK), and so sold everywhere that company sold its products.
You will have to offer more detail get more detail.
Best wishes, Mark

Definitely UK Zonophone after affiliation with Twin... 1910 era label or later...

Re: 12" Zonophones the Twin Double Sided
The record pictured above was released in about 1920. Zonophone was for many years HMV's budget label, and prices today continue to reflect this unless the content is of exceptional rarity or interest.
The English tenor Sydney Coltham was a member of the British National Opera Company during the 1920's and recorded duets with Peter Dawson, for which he was "promoted" to HMV's Plum Label.

Re: 12" Zonophones the Twin Double Sided
the twin zonophone records (c 1912 - 1925)are pretty common even the 12 inch ones
more rare are the 12'' single sided versions you see the 10'' single sided records quite often the 12'' are F-ing rare
the normal 2 sided 12'' zono's are mostly instrumentals most common are the unending amount of sellections done by the black diamonds band
vocal records on 12'' are less common but by no means rare
real rareties on zono 12'' are opera records and recordings of music hall artists with wich i don't count artists like ernest pike peter dawson or any of the other recurring zono artists
harry lauder made 1 double sided 12'' on zonophone wich is impossible to find others are billy williams, harry fay, florry forde and george formby senior in my 25 years of collecting i never seen the 12'' of these artists but they are out there somewhere
the value of 12'' zono's isn't very high most of the music on them isn't of high interest
however if its a recording of an opera artist than the prices can soar through the roof
some of the opera recordings are re-prints of earlyer g&t records a 12'' of these can fetch a kings randsom
