Here is something you do not find every day. It is the mechanism for a Brooks Automatic Repeating Phonograph. These are rare birds. They were produced in 1916 until Brooks went out of business in 1921. They are rarely found today complete or incomplete. If you have one and are trying to complete it, what an opportunity. The motor and mechanism are complete, with all functioning repeating parts. Of course as can be seen in the pictures, the tone-arm, turntable, reproducer, crank and cabinet are missing.
It does have one of the original tone-arm wires that controls the stopping position of the tone arm. Another great item with this package.
This one is on an oak board, making it even more of a rare bird.
The price is SOLD plus what ever it costs to ship to you.
No PayPal on this, but checks are fine.
