VICTOR ONE VALUE

Post by ambrola »

I'm not going to post a picture, but what is the machine I have worth? I have never had one in 20 years. Thinking of selling a couple machines to get a Hexaphone and I have no idea of the Victor ones value.

If you can't post a photo, it would be nice to have a better description and type of horn and the condition of everything. There's a big difference in value between something with a wood horn compared to a metal horn. Thanks, Jerry

You mean the one about which you wrote three days ago:

"I have never been so happy with a Phonograph as I am with this little Victor 1. It is an early one and looks and sounds great. And to think I almost didn't get it."

Is that the one?

Yes. I am happy with it, but might need to sell quite a few of my nicer pieces. I just really don't have a clue to their value.

"their value"..... :?. Your guess is as good as any of ours. Try listing on Ebay at $99 and see where it goes. To quote most auctions houses these days...."auction estimate $.99-$100.000"..... ;).

I'd love to know what it's worth as well.

Pictures here (all over the place actually)

My guess is around $8,000.00 considering what this one fetched--> http://www.ebay.ca/itm/321565313796?ssP ... 1423.l2649
