If this is a Standard Model F with an S reproducer, then $700.00 is a STEAL. These are rare machines. They almost never turn up. If you live nearby, grab it!! :) :)

I know your frustration with the horn. It's a really nice horn, too. But the Model F with small horizontal carriage and S reproducer are rare birds.

I've had a Standard model "F" for about five years that had the carriage which is specific to this model replaced with a horizontal carriage and a diamond B reproducer. I just found the correct carriage a couple weeks ago on EBay. Now all I need is an S reproducer to complete it. So knowing how long I had searched for the part is a testament to its rarity.

Scam? I've been trying to contact the seller and there has never been any response...

Anyone else get hold of seller?

I did reach him. Doesn't appear to be a scam. Answered questions I had.

Thanks Wes!

Was it still for sale, does it sound worth pursuing?

Yes Michael it was still there and available. The only thing missing appeared to be the crane for the horn. I did not see any additional photos.

If somebody here gets it, I'd love to see some good photos. Good luck.
