I hope your wallet is thick! Someone in England a couple years back sold a few nice Gene Greene center-starts on eBay. They were fetching north of $100.00. I kinda lost interest at that price and haven't seen any listed since.

You might get lucky, as I did, and find one in a job lot of Pathés bought at auction. "They all kept time with their feet" is a title I would not part with, although I actually bought the lot to secure Stanley Kirkby's recording of "Get out and get under".

Tim Fabrizio has a few of these Gene Greene Pathés.In fact, when I was at his shop on time Tim played on of them for me,"When That Midnight Choo-Choo Leaves for Alabam'.The EBay seller,Mark Berresford, has another one I'm trying for.I told him that I'd be interested in parting with two of my Sophie Tucker Edisons for the Pathé.I have the Sophies on cassette tape.edisonplayer

I was thinking of asking Tim Fabrizio if he'd be interested in trading. As I said,he has some Gene Greene Pathés.I'll wait until I have my loan paid off after I get my tax refund.edisonplayer

I FINALLY won one on EBay,It is Pathé 447,"That Coontown Quartet"/"Maybe You Think I'm Happy".A great addition to my collection! :D edisonplayer PS:The grand total for the Gene Greene is $375.09.It's the most that I've ever paid for one record.I don't think anyone would stone me for paying it.I'd like sone feedback on it.
