Looks to me as it has certainly been refinished, and the decal is poorly applied.

Even so, it is worth the money. The cabinet and decal could be refinished to your taste. An all-original machine could cost you 5 or 6 thousand dollars. Is originality worth that kind of price difference? For some people, yes, and for some people, no.edisonphonoworks wrote:Looks to me as it has certainly been refinished, and the decal is poorly applied.

I agree. A wooden Music Master cygnet horn alone is probably worth around $1000. That leaves $1200 for a machine like that. Not a bad deal at all.

It would probably cost $1200 for postage from Sydney...

Andreas, I think the airfare and the time to fly to Sydney and back would be even more prohibitive, never mind security...alang wrote:Naah, just put it in your hand luggage.Curt A wrote:It would probably cost $1200 for postage from Sydney...Airport Security would have a ball.

Not prohibitive at all, if you make a vacation out of it.
