Gramophone mainspring specifications

Post by epigramophone »

Having recently helped a fellow member with a mainspring specification I am now posting the full catalogue of Vulcan mainsprings dated October 1954, by which time the demand for these products must have been in decline. The manufacturers were J.Stead & Co Ltd, perhaps better known for their Songster needles and soundboxes.

My catalogue is an old photocopy, hence the less than perfect images.

Roger.
