Wow---my son lives in South Bend. Wonder if he'd like to take a run up to Grand Rapids???

A question for the experts: what is the metal gizmo mounted above the ID plate (visible in the fourth photo)?

That is the motorboard release button assembly which allows the hinged motorboard to be lifted and locked into place for lubrication and examination of the motor. What a deal this is! I can't believe the person in the background of one of the pictures isn't running to it and buying it! If it were within 4 hours drive of me I'd be there!

There's some black electrical tape wrapped around the elbow/horn connection but so what! Looks good!!

I called at 11:00, and at 10:50 even before it opened, and it was sold already to someone in-person. Who got it?

At that price, I assume they ranked it as a crapophone and never thought it to be original.

That was my guess when I first saw the ad.
