Beat up Columbia type BF Peerless Graphophone eBay
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1862033614 To me it looks like it could be saved. Right now it's at a great price.

This may be a major restoration project...
The one detail that intrigues me is the reproducer: it does not seem to correspond either with the #11 or #12 reproducers known to have been furnished with this model (at least according to Hazelcorn's book)...

This doesn't look like any Columbia Lyric reproducer that I have seen. The top looks similar to an Edison, but the positioning nub is different, though.

The early Lyric reproducers had weights instead of the later spring loaded variety you most normally see.
I have this same reproducer on what is probably the one of the earliest Columbia BE's in existence, s/n 76.
