FOR SALE: Columbia Grafonola 200 (PA) Walnut - SOLD

Post by DrGregC »

From my personal collection, I am offering for sale this unusual and collectible Columbia Grafonola 200 in beautiful American walnut. It is available for local pick-up in the Philadelphia area or free delivery to the Wayne show on Sunday April 19. This machine has the three elements to make it a desirable collectible. It is rare. These were top-of-the-line low production machines. It is in an unusual American walnut finish. It is in excellent condition.

The machine runs great and sounds great. The motorboard plinth and turntable mechanism are stunning - unlike any other machine. High-end gold plated finish. The only flaw is the lack of gold-plating on the elbow. I bought it this way so I do not know the history. As seen in the photos, I have a matching Columbia Grafonola 200 owner's manual. I am receptive to any fair offer. Please PM me if you are seriously interested. I would be happy to answer your questions and provide any additional pictures that you request. Thanks.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the interest in this machine. I love it. Unlike any other upright machine in my collection. This is the larger model 200 with 5 louver volume control, gold plating, original green velvet turntable mat, individual pull-out record compartments, and the unusual & beautiful American walnut finish. Purchased the machine in September 2004. Runs and sounds great. Never had any need for repairs.

I am asking $750, but I am interested in any fair offers. Pick-up in Philadelphia area (North Wales)or free delivery to Wayne show. Please contact me with any questions or for additional photos. We are downsizing, so I need to sell the machine. Make me an offer. Thanks.

The Walnut Coumbia has been sold. The ERJ Monarch and Sonora Baby Grand are still for sale. Will put them on eBay as soon as I find the time. Maybe tonight. Thanks for all of your interest.
