Saw these 2 Ebay auctions last night and emailed the seller after placing a bid on one of them asking for additional pictures. He sent me the 2 pictures I asked for so I know he must have the item. When I click on the picture in my email, it doesn't enlarge the picture, instead it comes up to link to sign in to Ebay China. Maybe his user name says it all. Would like to ask someone at Ebay but that is next to impossible. What do you think?

Re: Suspicious Ebay Auctions
I saw that victor horn, What diameter is the bell? I cannot tell what horn it is suppose to be by the angle of the single picture.
Anyway the Victor decal is nearly on the seam which means it is a repaint at best, worse would be a reproduction IMO. John

Re: Suspicious Ebay Auctions
Well it seems there are several bidders that are willing to take the chance and with very little information to go on. I don't understand what is gained by the scammer if it is indeed a scam as Ebay is not likely to release their money with a history of no earlier sales and the buyer is covered under the Ebay guarantee. What am I missing here?

There are numerous feedbacks with the exact same phrasing from different sellers. Run, don't walk, away from this seller

Well I didn't bid anymore but sure wanted to on that swiss horn and elbow that I need for a project. I doubt that it will get shipped though at that selling price but who knows. If it does, someone got a good deal.

Re: Suspicious Ebay Auctions
Well , the seller has no seller feedback at all , only as a buyer , so i'd guess he hasn't really sold anything.....downsouth wrote:Any updates on these auctions?
