William J "Sailor" Reilly Tenor

Post by Phonofreak »

I just got a July 1918 Victor record catalog. The reason I had to get it was there was a picture of a Navy man, William J. "Sailor" Reilly. He was a First Class Electrician's Mate, who was also a Tenor recording for Victor. I have one of his songs, Victor 18460, What'll We Do With Them Boys/Any Old Place The Gang Goes. He recorded patriotic songs. If anyone has any knowledge of other songs he recorded, I would love to know. I'm not sure, but I think he recorded We'll Be Calling On The Kaiser. One I know what songs he recorded, I'd like to get everything he made. For me, this is a cross collectible. I also collect Navy memorabilia from the Spanish-American War, to the beginning of the Korean War. Thanks in advance for any help or leads.

A quick search on DAHR brings up these results:

I know I've certainly seen some if not all of these records around.

Good luck searching!
