1904 Victor 6
Now that my horn has arrived from Gregg, I am able to take pics on my machine. So, now we can see what a "first run" Victor 6 would have looked like when offer back in late 1904. Hope you all like the pics.

Wayne,
The horn looks great on your early 6.
I knew that your black and red style horn looked familiar, so I did a search and found these pics posted by Valecnik back in 2012.

Very nice!! Especially with the #10 reproducer. What is your serial number? Mine is 600.

Great machine thanks for sharing. Its a Victor 6 but at the same time so different from the average setup.
Its nice to see a #10 reproducer on it also. The #10's display well and are impressive to look at.
Best Regards, Larry

Re: 1904 Victor 6
Thank you to those who enjoy the pics. I felt bad posting another thread since I showed the horn while still with Gregg (on a later machine). I should not have the machine on ripped glass. The reflection makes the case look funny.
Both Gregg and I were worried how the horn would fair during shipping. Thankfully, it was all good.
Bob, yes, those pics were posted (a second time) in my last thread. Thanks to another member, a later ad from approx. 1906 shows this (what you show) "generic" Allen's horn also being offered with a red interior.
So, I guess you could have put one on any brand machine. However, this was later.
This horn was clearly made for VTM (VTM decal) and also retains a never before seen decal on the outside bell edge.
Gregg and I both believe this horn was from the first run shipped from Kobe Japan to VTM to introduce the new Victor 6.
Also, as mentioned in the other thread....shortly after the release of this model with this horn, supply of these horns was cut off due to war. This further leads us to think "early" regarding this horn.
