Uncle Josh--slightly o/t

I look forward to seeing many of you at Union this year--but I will only be able to be there for a few hours Sunday morning. Monday morning, I will be driving from Indiana to Kentucky, and have decided to detour over to Tipton, Indiana, to pay my respects to Cal Stewart. I know he is buried in Fairview Cemetery, and I will have no problem finding the cemetery. I'm short on time, and if anyone can give me some basic directions as to where his grave is located in the cemetery (I'm not sure how large the cemetery is)I would greatly appreciate it!

Am looking forward to speaking to Don Gfell, as we will be driving back to Chicago, at the end of our trip, via Milan, Ohio. I have never been there, and hope to be able to go into Edison's birthplace, and Don's antique shop!

The lanes within the cemetery are marked with little street signs. If my memory is correct, Cal's grave is near the intersection of Iris & Pansy (not joking). I believe this is slightly north and west within the cemetery.

I used to do a pretty good Uncle Josh myself, including the laughing songs. An actress that I worked with back in he early 'Eighties could do a really fine Aunt Nancy. A third friend worked as a "play doctor" writing dialogue and continuity for Broadway and Television work. He wrote several new Uncle Josh sketches for us to perform, most of which we recorded. Somewhere I still have a copy of "Uncle Josh and Aunt Nancy Visit the Hotel Ansonia" , which simply fractured them back in the old days.

Shaun Borri--Yes, I still have the cylinder that Michael Khanchalian and Scott Corbett had you do for me! It was a BIG surprise! I went to a Golden State Phonograph Society meeting at Michael's home, and the topic was a new and rare Uncle Josh title! I wouldn't miss that for anything, as I LOVE Uncle Josh. When the cylinder was played, I almost had tears in my eyes--it was a great cylinder--and a birthday gift for me. I have it, along with another you made--think it was Uncle Josh visit's Mike Sorter's house and Uncle Josh and the flying saucer? You are GREAT!

Well, first I would have to find it, and secondly, well, I don't think that it is suitable for this family oriented forum. You see, I ran with a rather "fast" theatrical crowd in those days, and the former restraint of the Ansonia was at the time occupied by Plato's Retreat...
