"On your different versions question- most (what am I saying!) that I have seen- like five or six in thirty years- have been like mine on offer now with 'blank' cases. Strangely I have never seen the version you sent me with the 'true' Edison banner (and presumably a triton motor) and just the mandrels duplex-ised for the UK market."

Re: Edison Bell Concert
Dumb question - what's rare about it?
I sold one just like it at auction many years ago in the UK, although it didn't have the edison bell plate.given that's got a kink in it it looks like it's been off at some point.

Re: Edison Bell Concert
It was a good 10 years ago, but I bought it at sotherbys or bonhams so all the UK dealers had the opportunity to outbid me. The fact that they didn't suggested it wasn't rare.

Re: Edison Bell Concert
Sorry, I've just realised from your other posts that it's your auction.
I'm not trying to do your auction down, just wondered what the rarity was, the machine, the duplex part or the edison bell part
