EDISON 2-C - Long Playing Phonograph

This is your chance to sit back and listen, really listen, or perhaps dust your collection while listening.

These don't turn up often and Rick has Sam a little worried about being replaced. The war has made it tough to leave Casablanca, but Sam is working on a plan that could get him to APS. Snatch this up before Rick can, and Sam will have peace of mind. By adding this Edison Long Play Phonograph to your collection, you will be saying, "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!" You may even start to sing!

A fellow forum member and I will be traveling to APS, so this can be transported there for no extra cost. Look at all of the photos and you will see that its physical condition is worthy of restoration. I have made a short video for you to hear that it performs perfectly. It can be emailed to interested persons.

The asking price is $499, but feel free to make an offer.
The records shown, are not included.

James and Terry

James, you are just too culturally and philosophically literate for this forum!!! :coffee: If anyone out there has soul AND cash (I have plenty of the former--and increasingly less of the latter) they should buy this machine just to reward an incredible sales pitch; afterwards they would discover what an interesting system they'd obtained.

I'm rooting for you! Nietzsche would root for you too--but he's totally crazy AND dead (way to pick your heroes).... Oh, and "Casablanca" is also the greatest film of all time; I, like Rick, root for the underdog.

Ralph
"You must serve music, because music is so enormous and can envelop you into such a state of perpetual anxiety and torture--but it is our first and main duty"
-- Maria Callas, 1968 interview.

Feel free to make an offer on this beauty!
Remember LA is a better pick-up location than Tucson is, and you may get someone to give it a lift east after that. ;)

It's not like I triple dog dared you of something.
