FOR SALE: EXCELLENT ORIGINAL VICTOR 1 PHONOGRAPH - $1400

I am selling an absolutely gorgeous Victor 1 phonograph, serial #8476. This is about as good as it gets. The cabinet and all parts are in near-perfect condition with original finishes, shiny nickel plating and filigree on the back bracket. The motor is super clean and the paper label on the cabinet bottom is fully intact and clearly legible with a date of 1903. The turntable is the beveled style with original felt. The horn is the larger, Victor II horn that is fitted in the horn adapter to fit the Victor I elbow. It is in very nice condition with original paint and a great decal. There are tiny pinholes on the horn petals at the top seam, but do not distract from anything.

No apologies on this one and it sounds as good as it looks! This phonograph can be delivered for free to the Gray's Lake Antiques Show in IL 9/11-9/13) or the Wayne, NJ show (9/20.) I am located in Madison, WI and the phonograph can be picked up locally as well. Otherwise, shipping will be done through the UPS store where buyer pays the exact shipping fee.

that's a really nice machine. I have a very early V-I like that as well with the adapter for the larger horn (mine has the brass bell type). these don't seem to show up very often at all.
