Another Emerson Phonograph
One of the good members of The T M F, contacted me about an Emerson Console he had that needed a tonearm. Figuring it was the standard one used-----I thought I could help but asked for pictures to play it safe. Turn out to be a model I was not familiar with, looked like The Lady Churhill model but different. I thought that maybe someone had a gutted cabinet (it had been stripped) and put a motor, horn, and tonearm in it. Well, the offer was made for purchase-----if wanted. Things fell into place, the machine in Florida could be delivered to New Jersey at no charge. The Emerson Euphonic arrived and it was made after Victor Emerson left/lost the company. The Emerson Wadsmuth Goodrich cabinet I guess was made to keep up with the times---to compete or attempt to compete with the new sounding Victor Orthophonic, like Silvertone had their Truphonic. Well there are two Emerson models I am still looking for that I know exist----a table model, enclosed horn with lid and a console model with a center lid. ----Florida has been very very good to me.

Hello Rich, Thanks----the gentleman let the Emerson go, it took up room and he was seriously into cylinder machines, having at least 60 of them.
