Back in June, I purchased this VV-XI, it had almost all of the original hardware swapped out with other odds and ends.
Today, I had some time to snap some pics of the machine, I still need to get it up on a cabinet. I want to thank all of the forum members that were helpful with advice and came through with parts.

Re: Early VV-XI
What a nice early Victrola. These early machines sold in small numbers. Those that survived continued to suffer in the hands of early collectors that valued them simply as a source for horn machine parts. The VV-XI could be dismantled and the various parts included a Victor III/IV motor, Victor V turntable, Victor III-VI tone arm, Victor IV-VI speed control, cannon brake, escutcheon, early modifiable crank and an Exhibition Sound Box. About all you have remaining is an empty cabinet. I applaud anyone that takes the time, effort and expense to bring back a nice piece of history.
