Hi All,
Thought I'd share some pics of Edison (original paint) Fireside horns as they were offered here in Australia.
These all have the original paint and decals. We were lucky enough to have a wider variety of colours offered here in Australia.
They aren't easy to find but I've seen a couple in 23 years of collecting.
Here I've got the maroon (does not unscrew in middle), pale and navy blues.
I think one of our list members has a green if I recall correctly.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Mario

Mario,
Those are really nice! They look like the earlier 1 piece versions which had a much better paint job on them than the two piece.
QUESTION:
What Gems were these horns offered for?
Were any of the 2-piece horns painted a different color?

Re: Edison Fireside Horns - Original Australian Colour Range
Hi Gents,
Cheers they are nice horns. I found the maroon one with fire sides and the other two turned up on their own so I'm not too sure to be honest.
I've only ever see the maroon two piece and mine came from the USA it wasn't a horn that I think made it here generally.
Cheers,
Mario

Here is a pic of the blue cygnet horn
they also came in Maroon/deep brown (I have one of those too) and in the green (don't have)
Interesting note on horns available in Australia. I've never seen a 10 panel cygnet that wasn't shipped here from the states as far as I'm aware. The cygnets that do turn up are 11 panels.
