It would almost pass for a Pathé were it not for the HMV logo. Nothing remotely Edison about it.

The self - same stinker is here marketed as an HMV Monarch Gramophone. http://www.amazon.com/Old-Modern-Handic ... 00RQE30G4/

Perhaps it's a Pooley Victrola and and EMG Xb oversize too.

No it is not a phonograph it is what we call in the real world of Fabulous Phonographs
The one Pictured in eBay listing is none other than the " Famous Crapo phone"
