FOR SALE- Tabletop Brunswick Model T in WALNUT - $400
This is a really nice tabletop Brunswick, a Model T, in walnut... which I haven't seen in a tabletop machine before... everything looks original, even though there are some gold plated and some nickel plated parts... others can confirm this, but I believe it wasn't uncommon for Brunswick to mix plating types this way (I've encountered this on a couple other Brunswicks I've had)... sueded turntable felt is original and in excellent shape, the two spring motor runs perfectly and quietly... I haven't rebuilt the reproducer, but the sound is good, and this is the type that will play lateral and both types of vertical discs, Pathé and edison... and the built in diamond tipped needle is present and fine. This is a really versatile machine, and the condition is great aside from some light surface wear to the lid.

I love that machine, I bought a Pathé table model 50 from Brian back in 2005, I wish I would have waited and bought this one instead. I prefer the Brunswicks over the Pathé.

If you could get it to Charlotte, I'd take it...

I can get this to wayne Sunday morning if you know anyone who will be there and headed south in your direction.
And this is definitely walnut... The lighting in this particular room of the house makes everything look darker... The graining on this case, especially the outside, is much more figural than mahogany and the color is a much lighter brown. At some point I may take a photo of this beside a couple mahogany victors for comparison, as it becomes pretty obvious then.

thanks, it's a great machine... these Brunswick motors surprise me at times regarding how well, and how quietly, they run.
I mentioned that this obviously has the ultona head with a good diamond, so it's ready to play standard lateral cut 78s as well as Edison diamond discs. it will also play Pathé vertical cut discs with a sapphire tipped stylus - I can supply one of those as well for $20 with the machine, so this would then be fully equipped to play all types of discs.
