So what is a good price for this?

I found it on Craigs list and the seller doesn't know what to ask for it. What do you think is a good offer? http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/atq/5179138918.html

I'd have to say $200.It's such a pretty machine. My friend Arthur Pare had a Kimball console. He got it at a second hand store for $15,and it was full of records.edisonplayer

Considering that it doesn't work and is a heavy off-brand machine I would guess no more than $100. It is decorative, but useless in its current state. Even brand machines have dropped in price, especially the heavy and bulky machines.

Is that a house-hold doorknob on the side of the machine, towards the front ?

$50 -$75. Kimballs used a fake, (faux), grain on their cabinets. It usually covered a poor grade of wood underneath. If this has been stripped, the faux graining will be gone but may leave some shadows of what was once there. The knob on the right side that someone commented on is the volume control. Kimball had a unique volume control that is easier to comprehend when you see it than it is for me to explain here.
