Edison Home - Tip of the Iceberg - CL Garage Sale

Post by CDBPDX »

Here is a sale this weekend in St Johns Oregon. One of the many items is an early suitcase Home with cylinder cabinet. Worth a look at this sale.

Another CL ad for this sale:

As far as I can tell, this is the only phonograph related item, but the sale is immense with other rare collectibles.

This looks to be part of the Lau collection of antique Fords. Model T #220 was recently part of this collection. Sold on eBay about a week ago. Looks to be a nice assortment of vintage car parts.

CDBPDX, Thanks for starting this thread. A friend and I bought all the phono items show in your photo. The record cabinet, machine, and records were priced as one lot. It was not cheap but the quality was incredible. The half barrel had all the pegs and the finish was original. The suitcase Home is as nice as I've ever seen and there were about ninety good cylinders. Thanks Cliff!
