I didn't know this about the tower, until yesterday: It's wired for audio, with loudspeakers on all sides, at both the top and bottom. At the program yesterday, we used a microphone, but there were no loudspeakers on the stage. All of the sound came from the tower itself. So, it's a tribute to both light and sound technologies. It looks beautiful. It's great to see things shaping up there. They recently renovated the museum building too.
