Here is an absolutely gorgeous Victor 1 phonograph, serial #8476. This is about as good as it gets. The cabinet and all parts are in near-perfect condition with original finishes, shiny nickel plating and perfect filigree on the back bracket. The motor is clean and the paper label on the cabinet bottom is fully intact and clearly legible with a date of 1903. The turntable is the beveled style with original felt.
This phonograph also comes with a horn adapter designed to fit the Victor I elbow to accept larger horns. The Victor II horn is in very nice condition with original paint and a great decal. There are tiny pinholes on the horn petals at the top seam, but do not distract from anything.
No apologies on this one and it sounds as good as it looks! The Exhibition reproducer is the earlier style with the correct round needle chuck hole. This phonograph can be delivered for free to the upcoming Stanton Auction in November or the April 2016 Wayne, NJ show. I am located in Madison, WI and the phonograph can be picked up locally as well. Otherwise, shipping will be done through the UPS store where buyer pays the exact shipping fee.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see any additional pics. You don't see a phonograph in this condition very often!
Thanks
Scott
