Pricing subject to change with research? What's the value of a wooden shipping crate with a portable mechanism installed? Also, I hope whoever has this listed is joking about the "investment" part...

I think this once belonged to Johhny Cash. It was assembled "Once Piece at a Time."

I'm a little surprised that the issue of rarity wasn't mentioned. This must be an incredibly rare machine... ;)

Yes, it's truly one of a kind! Maybe if seller included the cigar store Indian, the carpet, and the console radio (?) pictured with the rare Victor, it would rate a bid of, oh, say $38.

But It Now price has jumped to over $10k. But to his credit, he has posted the questions telling him it's crappo phone.

" i am having some one who knows about this piece to verify its authenticity that's why we price our items high so that we have more time to research our items and potential customers as well!!"

Interesting. Seems to me it would be smarter to do the research before listing it at an admittedly high price.
