Pound for pound the Amberola 30 is the best machine for playing Blue Amberol cylinders and this one is about as good as they get. It's 100% original with great finish, the better nickel plated reproducer, and it's an early example with the speed control up through the gear cover. Very nice Amberola 30, a great deal appears to be a nice cabinet, and nickel reproducer. The speed control is a plus especially with some of the Amberola's appearing to need a little slower speed...I believe Stars and Stripes Forever March was one of those cylinders that runs a little fast at 160 r.p.m.

Very nice. If Brian takes it, he should be pleased. My 30 sounds better than my 50, even if I swap reproducers - the 30
"throws the sound better", as someone told me long ago.
